Professional chamber choir The Texas Voices continues its ninth season of public

concerts with My Dear Heart: Christmas Lullabies and Other Holiday Favorites

on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 E. Lovers

bring you carols and lullabies, including Balulalow, The Shepherds Sing, Wassail,

and Novo profusi gaudio—a vibrant nativity motet set to medieval text. Featuring

Local Honey’s Holiday Mix Show, featuring a 15-piece all-star electric pop-orchestra, will return for its sixth year on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at 8 p.m. at the historical Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams Parkway, in East Dallas. The Texas Voices, one of North Texas’ premiere professional chamber choruses, will continue its seventh season of public concerts with Latin Love: Poetry and Song from Latin America on Sunday, Feb. 21 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano. Classical guitarist Robert Harding will be guest soloist.

The Texas Voices, a professional adult vocal chamber ensemble, is looking for new members for its next season. Auditions are being held by appointment beginning June 10 through August 7 at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano for both women’s and men’s parts.
