GGO Architects’ Gary Olp East Dallas home has been selected to be toured by NAHB conference attendees May 8.

GGOArchitects is pleased to announce that the Olp residence, designed by GGOArchitects and built by Ferrier Custom Homes, will be featured as part of the NAHB Green Built Home Tour on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (tentative time)

Home features include: Designed on an infill lot to showcase green building systems, including structural insulated panels, insulated concrete forms, spray foam insulation in crawl space, passive solar design, tree preservation, high seer water-cooled HVAC unit, reversible door system with MERV-13 filtration, regionally harvested ash cabinetry and flooring, tankless hot water heater, low-flow plumbing fixtures, preserved native landscaping and pervious driveway.

This home was awarded the 2006 award, Custom Category, Hot, Humid Climate of the Energy Value Housing Award, presented by NAHB Research Center.
