The Texas Voices, Collin County’s first professional chamber chorus, opens its sixth season of public concerts with the compelling, striving music of 19th century Romanticism including works by Schubert, Schumann, Fauré, Brahms, Verdi, Mendelssohn, Bruckner, and Straus. The 22-member chorus, directed by Alan Dyer and accompanied by guest pianist Shelbie Simmons, will perform Sunday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Resurrection Lutheran Church at 1919 Independence Parkway in Plano.
